Description

Science and medicine can cure cancer.
Radiation, chemotherapy and surgery can treat the disease.
Yet healing a person takes more.

It requires a comprehensive approach that
treats the whole person – mind, body and spirit.

On Saturday, September 20, 2014

Our community will come together to support patients at the new Calaway • Young Cancer Center at Valley View Hospital. As a Rally participant, you will help patients receive the healing touch of massage, ease the symptoms of cancer treatment through acupuncture and find companionship and strength through counseling and support groups. You will ensure a comprehensive cancer program that treats the whole person.

You can decide how you will Rally

Participate in a 24.5-mile bike ride, a 4-mile walk through downtown Glenwood Springs or a 1.5- mile family walk - Peyton's Parade. However you decide to Rally, all participants will come together for the Rally Party in Sayre Park. The party will be a treat for all with fabulous food, a beer garden and a kid’s zone with bouncy houses and more! Booths on cancer prevention and health will be both educational and inspirational. Admission to the party is included with your event registration or you can register for just the party.

Join us at the third annual rally for anyone
facing the diagnosis of cancer

Rally for those who have survived cancer. Rally for those who we have lost.
Rally to support the best cancer care for our community.
